Satin Fabrics
Satin is a type of weave made of silk. It is a widely available fabric that's mainly used for apparel, upholstery, and bedding. And what's important is that it's still retained its association with luxury. Some common uses for satin fabric include, but are not limited to; evening gowns, shirts, corsets, underwear, wedding dresses, loungewear, hats, and ties.
Flannel Fabrics
Flannel has an impressive ability to hold in heat and insulate and yet it can still be breathable enough to wick moisture away. It is typically made from soft cotton, wool or synthetic fabrics and has a thicker weave which make it more durable and perfect for cold weather. Its soft, cozy feel makes it the perfect fabric to keep you warm and comfy all winter long. Are you ready for this softness?
Silk Fabric
Silk Fabric is widely regarded as the most luxurious textile on the planet. The most abundant form of silk is cultivated from the cocoon of mulberry silkworm larvae. Its low conductivity keeps one warm in the winter, while its great absorbency wicks moisture away during the summer. The feel of silk fabric is unmistakable: smooth and luxurious, the fabric ripples like the surface of water.
Cotton Fabrics
Cotton fabric is popular because it's easy to care for and comfortable year-round. In hot, humid weather, cotton "breathes". It is easy to clean; it can be laundered or dry-cleaned. Cotton can be knit or woven into cloth. It absorbs up to 27 times its own weight in water. Cotton fiber is amazingly versatile, whether alone or blended, it outsells all other fibers combined.
Linen Fabrics
Linen is laborious to manufacture, but the fiber is very strong, absorbent and dries more quickly than cotton. Garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot and humid weather. It has a natural slub variation in the fiber refinement process, giving the fabric a classic textured look.
Chiffon Fabrics
Chiffon is a lightweight plain-woven fabric with mesh like weave that gives it transparent appearance. It is primarily made from cotton, silk or synthetic fibers like nylon, rayon and polyester. It is most commonly used to weave Sarees, Dresses and Scarves. The use of this fabric in layering an attire can be seen aplenty. It adds volume to a garment and is often used as the base fabric for embroideries and appliques.
